Does the Hisense VIDAA (A6/A7/U6 series) have ACR?
Yes.
Yes. It runs Hisense VIDAA and the fingerprinting is on unless you turned it off. The toggle is "Automatic Content Recognition" and "Enhanced Viewing".
Hisense's own VIDAA system carries content recognition under a menu it calls Enhanced Viewing, where it also drives the automatic picture and sound modes. Turning the recognition off greys out those two, which is why the menu presents it as a feature rather than as data collection.

- Open Settings, then System
- Open Advanced Settings. Newer sets call this Advanced System.
- Open Enhanced Viewing
- Turn "Automatic Content Recognition" off
- Picture Mode Auto Adaptation and Sound Mode Auto Adaptation grey out when you do. That is expected, and it is the point.

What the switch does not cover
- These paths come from Hisense's own manuals and privacy notices. We have not yet confirmed them on a set in front of us, so the menu may be named differently on your firmware or in your country.
- An earlier version of this page gave a different path, using labels that turned out to belong to Samsung and LG rather than Hisense. It was wrong and we replaced it. If your menu does not match what is above, tell us and we will check it again.
- Hisense sells the same model numbers on Roku, Google TV, Fire TV and VIDAA. We use the network fingerprint to tell them apart; if this looks wrong, tap Report.
- The servers listed are known content-recognition endpoints in general. We have not confirmed which of them this platform contacts.
