Tested TVs run content recognition on HDMI inputs too, including a laptop plugged into the screen. In a clinic or an office, that is a compliance question.

With voice features on, LG's agreement has whoever accepts it confirm they asked everyone else. In a clinic that is patient privacy. In a law firm, privilege. In a boardroom, your unreleased numbers.

List your screens
Every TV used as a display: exam rooms, meeting rooms, lobbies.

Take HDMI-only screens offline
If a screen only ever shows a laptop plugged in by cable, it does not need the internet. Forget the Wi-Fi. Free.

Switch off the rest
Rooms that cast from phones need Wi-Fi. Turn off the setting on those. It is free, and we show the exact path.
Settings can move with updates, and rooms that cast cannot go offline. THE BOX is designed for that: casting keeps working, the tracking does not. It is not built yet.
