Applies to Hisense Google TV sets
- Open Settings, then System
- Open Advanced System, then Enhanced Viewing
- Turn "Automatic Content Recognition" off
Other switches and limits
Applies to All Google TV devices
- Settings > Privacy > Ads: choose "Delete advertising ID"
- This path is from Hisense's 2023 Google TV manual. We have not yet confirmed it on a set in front of us.
- Verdict shown as ACR because we cannot tell from the network whether content recognition is switched on. Check the setting above.
Keep it off with The Box
Updates can move the switch. The Box blocks the tracking on your network instead. It is not built yet.
