Short answer

Yes, a Hisense TV on Roku OS models uses ACR, called "Use info from TV inputs". To turn it off: Press the Home button on the remote, then open Settings, then open Privacy, then open Smart TV experience, then highlight "Use info from TV inputs" and press OK to clear the check box.

Yes, a Hisense TV on Google TV models uses ACR, called "Automatic Content Recognition". To turn it off: Open Settings, then System, then open Advanced System, then Enhanced Viewing, then turn "Automatic Content Recognition" off.

Yes, a Hisense TV on Hisense VIDAA models uses ACR, called "Enhanced Viewing Service". To turn it off: Open Settings, then System, then open Advanced Settings. Newer sets call this Advanced System, then open Enhanced Viewing, then turn "Automatic Content Recognition" off, then picture Mode Auto Adaptation and Sound Mode Auto Adaptation grey out when you do. That is expected, and it is the point.

Only Roku televisions have this row. A streaming stick cannot see your other inputs, so it has nothing to fingerprint and nothing here to switch off.

Both are tick boxes. An empty box is the finished state, and Roku does not confirm it any other way.
