- Open Settings, then Privacy
- Open Ads and choose "Delete advertising ID"
Other switches and limits
- Google says you cannot turn ads off, only control how the advertising ID is used.
- Google says it collects crash reports and usage data by default, as a device setting you can manage in the Google Home app.
Keep it off with The Box
Updates can move the switch. The Box blocks the tracking on your network instead. It is not built yet.
